I have had a best friend since the moment we met in ninth grade choir class, Stephanie. No matter what, through many of life's ups and downs, we have always been there for each other. Stephanie always had the worst luck with men...that is until she met Adam and things took not just a turn but a leap in the best direction. Adam proposed New Year's Eve of 2020 (man what a way to go into 2021 with some optimism) and Stephanie let me know right away! Having already seen the absolute tragedy that was the 2020 wedding planning year, she knew that they just wanted something small, so she asked me if I would help her plan an intimate wedding. OF COURSE I WOULD!! It was the perfect timing as I had a photographer friend who had just recently opened a studio space and I thought it would be the perfect place to host a small event. I reached out to Sherri and she loved the idea, so we sat down and thought "Well, if one couple is looking for something like this, then that means other couples are out there too, right?" and our joint venture of a micro-wedding venue was born. We called it Main Street Mini Matrimony, a nod to our Main Street location in uptown Norwalk, Ohio, and something amazing was born. An all inclusive micro-wedding venue where literally everything is included for one incredibly low cost. Invitation design, florals, decor, the seating, the officiant and even the photographer!
Fast forward just a few months, and we come to Stephanie and Adam's wedding. The day could not have been more perfect. Stephanie looked stunning in her dress from The Brides World in Sandusky (veil by me!). This was the only time officiating a wedding that I got a bit emotional...I mean, it's my best friend and this was a long time coming! After the ceremony, the couple headed to a private home in downtown Sandusky for a private dinner and reception. I will always owe my thanks to Stephanie for helping me and Sherri create our newest business venture, and I will always have a special place in my heart for that wonderful day!
